My sincer condolences to the family. A true mentor to us young aspiring men. I learnt to test overhead light sockets with my finger and the sentence "good enough for the girls we go out with" will always remind me of him. I am very sorry, he was a great teacher. Chris Barnes. I am sorry to hear of Brien's death. I remember him as a tall quiet gentleman who exuded a sense of presence. During my early years at Weldon I always marvelled at the number of students that had graduated but made time to come back and see Mr. McDonagh and thank him for starting them down the path of their trade or profession. He was passionate about his subject and wanted to help kids in his own quiet way. He was a great colleague and friend and he will be missed. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the service.
