Glenn and I dated for a short time in our younger years and he had an important impact on me as did his Mother. Mrs. Brown taught me some manners (and how to eat cantaloupe quarters with ice cream) and Glenn taught me not to suffer fools and to be honest with who and what you are. Those times were many years ago but were important times. The last time I saw Glenn was a chance encounter at the Sheraton downtown and he was working as a Union Rep years ago. I am certain that Glenn, as I knew him, is correcting (aka informing) others or being the voice for those who needed it because he always said "you know me Jody, I am a big mouth".

Cuz God am I ever going to miss our talks, emails and visits. You have been a part of my life since I can recall, even taking photos at our wedding. We went to the World Series, and watched over my shoulder as our kids have grown. A big part of my life has been silenced and I want to thank you for all the memories. I worked closely with Glenn for a number of years at MTO INFO, here in St Catharines.

His on-phone alias was "Bud". It was my responsibility to track metrics such as the number of calls taken, length of calls, etc. for the provincial call centre. Glenn didn't care a hoot about numbers or statistics - only the people at the other end of the line - he gave them the info they required, plus a friendly ear, (and often, his opinion - whether or not it was the government party line!). I recall one day when Glenn brought his new (very new) little puppy (Cujo?) into the office - that was when I saw his tough veneer crumble - he was a pushover for that puppy, RIP Bud

Sincere condolences. I feel privileged to have known and worked with Glenn at MTO. Glenn was a dedicated public servant. His commitment to customer service was recognized and respected across the Ministry and the Ontario Public Service. Glenn always provided information and advice I could count on, but his wit, sense of humour and perspective on life is what I will remember and miss most. Thank you Glenn.

My deepest sympathies... Glenn was a truly special individual and I am honoured to have known him. He was a good friend / colleague and I will miss him very much. From myself & my family, our sincere condolences. Glenn was a true inspiration. Always kind and fun to be with. We were reckless teens, nothing stood in our way !
