What a wonderful man and such a profound loss to his family. He loved his family so much and certainly took an active roll supporting the grandkids at their hockey games. Rosalie and Murray always seemed to be out with their friends doing fun things. It's funny, but that Friday (his birthday) at bowling I looked across at he and Rosalie sitting and laughing together and commented to my friend Mary as to what a beautiful couple they were. Murray always made a point of coming over to say hello. He will be very sadly missed by so many. Eileen Weldon

As one of the "ROMEO's" (standing for "Retired Old Men Encouraging Others") I was honored to get to know Murray as an authentic Christian who loved his Lord Jesus and his family. He had a genuine desire to love and help with the needs others. We pass on to you our thoughts and prayers. this is one of our favourite stories grandpa told us: "when i was a little boy i went into the woods with my dad and i said i got tired. my dad said you can walk back home if you know where you're going. so i said sure. so i was walking when i saw a bunny rabit. i scared the bunny and the bunny scared me. the bunny rabit turned around and went the other way and i ran as fast as i could acrosas the feild and all the way home." we will always remember the way our grandpa told this storey. love Eve and Olivia

I have many fond memories of uncle Murray. They date back to the 70's when my sister Sandra and myself were children. We would get so excited when dad would suggest that we visit the Edgar's on the farm. As city children this was such a novel idea. We would get to the farm and play in the barn for hours! Every year at Christmas, our two families would get together for Christmas craft. Both families took the craft very seriously (well kinda)and it became quite competitive. You could always count on Murray to put his heart and sole into his craft much like everything else that he touched. Lastly, I always respected Murray because he was always interested in our lives and what we were doing. He was genuinely interested in what YOU were doing. He will be greatly missed. Suzanne Dyment

He will certainly be missed by all who knew him and especially at the Arena where he cheered on his grandaughters playing hockey....he was so proud of them.
