When Michael was born he had a heart shaped birthmark on the top of his head. I took him to the Dr., to see if I could get it removed, but the Dr. said that there was no hair glands there and hair would never grow on it. One day when Michael was about 8 years old he asked me why he had that mark on his head and I told him" That God thought he was special and that he put the heart on top of his head so he could find him in a crowd of people". Michael thought that was a good explanation and he didn't ask me about it anymore. Later on in life he went to a surgeon and had it removed a bit at a time and the heart shaped birthmark disappeared, but he was still special to God and to me his Mother.

I was Fortunate to have know Mike since the 70's when we were both kids!!! He was an awesome drummer playing with The T.O.Band The VILETONES!!! His Passion in Everything he Did was INTENSE!!!! He was the Big Brother I never Had! His Heart was Enormas as was His Humor which I LOVED. Mike was the Guy that was ALWAYS there for Anyone Who Needed a Hand & Kept you Laughing threw your Delema with his Quick wit & Awesome one Liners!!! It is with a SAD & Heavy Heart I say So Long to My Big Brother today as I know I will be with him one Day & Have the Privalege of Jamming with the bEST Drummer I've EVER known!!! Our sincere condolences to Michael's family and friends. Mike was our drummer in 1979 and toured extensively with us throughout eastern Canada and the US. He also recorded with us.
